Announcing new XP ranking system, redesigned TV popups and Battlemode updates

Our goal is to constantly improve the quality and functionality of our product, ensuring that users and managers stay motivated!

--

We’ve been hard at work to implement and redesign some of our features, based solely on customer feedback and experience.

Earlier this year, we completely redesigned the dashboard, making the data visualization and metrics much smoother and easier to understand, and allowing administrators to create individualized dashboards to show specific data for customized sets of users. We also recently updated all of our sales competition templates, giving users nearly unlimited ways to run their sales contests.

Now, we have completely updated our XP system, we’ve redesigned the screen popups that show when sales activities are reported, we’ve redesigned the profile page, and we’ve updated head-to-head battles with a fresh new look and the ability to run private head-to-head matchups. Let’s take a look at the updates:

New XP system

We’re proud to announce the launch of a new and improved XP system. The new setup is much more flexible than the previous one, and companies can now choose between 5 different sets of level models. These level models are: military ranks, minerals, Medieval noble titles, karate belts, and corporate themes. Users can also re-name the different levels themselves, if they wish.

Another focus has been to make this new XP system more balanced, making it easier for companies to configure this with the new XP/product wizard. In this setup wizard, managers simply answer a short series of questions in order for the system to automatically determine how many XP should be awarded for each activity. The goal is for users to level-up once a day if they achieve their target objectives, keeping them on track and motivated. However, if preferred, managers can also manually set whatever XP values they wish to each activity.

Here is a list of the different level models that administrators can now choose from.

New events

SalesScreen’s events have also been redesigned to bring more focus on your most important milestones. Celebrating in style is easier than ever and more fun with these updated celebrations templates.

Redesigned screen popups

All the screen popups (reports/events/battles) have been freshly redesigned and updated. Now each sales report (activity, offer, meeting, and sale) will have its own color when they appear on TV. This creates even more “wow” effect and makes it even easier to see what type or report has been added, at just a moment’s glance.

Redesigned profile page

The user profile page has been updated with a new design, which highlights the new XP system. Users can quickly see how close they are to unlocking the next level and they can also view where all of their other colleagues currently stand on the ranking leaderboard.

Redesigned battle page

The battle page has also received a fresh design and also uses the same color-coded activity system as the screen popups. The battles leaderboard has also been updated to highlight the top 3 competitors within the company.

Private battles

Users can now opt to create private battles. A private battle will not show up in the Battles overview, making it less intimidating for users to accept a battle challenge if they think they might lose. In addition, when a private battle is accepted or completed, no information will be shown on TV. Only the users participating in the battle will be able to see information pertaining to it.

This is how SalesScreen’s Battle Mode appears on TV, web, and mobile app.

Our goal

So, what is our goal with all of this? Simply put we want to help create the most motivated, data-driven and high-achieving sales teams on the planet. We believe that in order to achieve that, people come first. We’re doing everything we can think of to give sales managers around the globe the perfect toolkit to increase awareness, activity, and sales.

  • We want to help provide more recognition to employees, thus creating a strong sales culture and increasing sales performance.
  • We want to make it easier than ever to run sales contests, use leaderboards, provide level-up progression and drive activity.
  • We want to build strong teamwork and cohesion with a focus on team-based results.
  • We want to provide better data that allows for simple and effective sales coaching, based on real-time information.
